If you are running an online eGaming business and want to succeed on Facebook one of our Sales person will have asked to place a Facebook pixel on your site and give us access to it in order to connect it to our Business Manager.
In the following article we will see together why this is important and the security in doing this for your online brand.
Why do we ask to share your Facebook Pixel before starting an online campaign?
The reason why we ask all customers to share their pixel with us is because this allows us to advertise on Facebook based on their brand’s goals.
E.g.
Let’s take the following example. Imagine that your brand’s need is to acquire new players in the next quarter (new FTDs). The importance of having the Facebook Pixel implemented on your site lies in the fact that the correct strategy to adopt is to exclude those who are already part of your user database. With the implementation of the pixel we will be able to exclude those users who have concluded a transaction (FTD) on your site in the past, allowing all the Facebook campaigns to reach only those who have never entered to your site.
The one described above is only one of the possible examples in which the Facebook Pixel can be used.
Note. There are other ways in which the pixel could be used and ways to exclude your current players but will not be covered in this article.
What guarantees that your data is safe?
This is the fear that every brand has when it comes to Digital Marketing, being sure that your data is yours and not accessible to third party providers.
Since the pixel is created in your Business Manager and implemented on your site, all the data will be accessible to you. You’ll have the rights to manage them whenever you want. Facebook allows brands to customize the user journey by using the Cookies and there is no possibility that third party providers can steal or know any information about your players, since everything is tracked anonymously by the Facebook platform.
