Sokabet is a sports betting company operating in Tanzania. We helped them to launch their brand as they needed mass exposure to win market shares from a competitive market. We first ran a branding campaign that reached as many potential players as possible. We then launched targeted acquisition campaigns to acquire high value players at the best price.

As a new brand, Sokabet wanted to get as many registrations and deposits as possible with challenging KPIs. They also looked at increasing their average spend per bet placed along the campaign.
As it was an unknown brand on the market, we needed to work on the reach while getting registrations and bet placed, at a very low price. We created a 3 phase strategy:
1. Branding campaigns: Reach a broad audience of potential betters.
2. Acquisition campaigns: To target the most valuable players we used a mix of audiences: based on interests, based on registrations made during the branding phase that we re-engaged and lookalike audiences from the first FTDs.
3. Retention campaigns: We worked on retargeting existing customers to get a higher value per bet placed.
All the video’s and static images have been created in 1:1, 4:5, 2:3, 9:16 and 16:9 by our design department and handed over to our Campaign Managers for publishing on Facebook.
